Most Web Savvy themes are mobile responsive + HTML5 and their store includes 7 different WooCommerce themes. And because they’re industry-specific, this makes it easier to visualize how your website will look once it’s customized. This can be VERY helpful.
Since all their themes are built in the Genesis Framework, we already know they’re SEO-friendly and secure. So instead of explaining what already comes with Genesis, I’m going to focus my Web Savvy Marketing review on the quality of their designs, features, and specs.
Let’s take a look…
The first step to choosing a WordPress theme is sorting through which type of theme you’re looking for. Web Savvy Marketing makes this easy with their theme filters:
You’ll notice each theme’s design and functionality are tailored for a specific industry. Some even come with industry-specific content…
- Christian (church theme) has a page with downloadable sermons
- Lisa Marie (salon theme) has a gift certificate page
- Lillian (music theme) has a discography page with an audio player
This is the discography page on the Lillian music theme. While the HTML5 jQuery Audio Player they use is a third party plugin that doesn’t come with the theme, they demonstrate how it can be setup – very helpful. With that being said, you’ll want to check the theme’s details page to see what plugins they use so you can have the same functionality.
I also noticed some of the designs are compact, for example, the Robert Political theme doesn’t have a lot of spacing between content sections. Other Web Savvy themes like Rachel have a little more spacing. It’s just a matter of preference.
Moving to website speed, I was impressed with the fast load times even when compared to StudioPress themes. On Web Savvy Marketing themes, you can pull up a new page you haven’t visited before (to avoid some caching) and it still loads instantly. I’m big on site speed since fast websites are good for both SEO and conversions.
All themes come with PSD and XML files but they do not include the stock photos.
- Most themes are mobile responsive + HTML5
- Themes are multilingual
- Support RTL languages
- Include .pot, .mo, and .po files
- Compatible with major browsers
- Uses GPL license

Web Savvy Marketing advertises their themes to be “functionality rich” which can make designing them a little easier. Some developers prefer less built-in functionality as it can add to your page load time, but this doesn’t seem to be a problem with these themes.
Each one comes with different features, so check it’s details page to see what’s included. Here are some common features many Web Savvy Marketing themes come with:
- Post Author Box
- Feature Images
- Widget Ready Sidebars
- Theme Options
- Google Fonts
- Custom Logo
- PSD Elements
- Social Icons
- WordPress 3.0 Menus
- Secondary Menu Option
- Column Classes
- Online Store
- Widgetized homepage
As part of my Web Savvy Marketing review, I pulled a couple reviews from other people who have used their themes. These are for the Frederick Law theme. You can find reviews for each theme under it’s details page. There aren’t reviews for all them, but a good chunk.
Support & Documentation
Once you purchase a theme from Web Savvy Marketing you will have access to their support forum. Here you can navigate to the theme you’re using and read existing topics, FAQs, and setup instructions. Or you can post a new question. Each theme comes with about 25-30 topic-based instruction sets for mimicking the demo.
Chris Cree also takes a significant amount of time with each customer who needs help, and most people on social media say their support is amazing.
Between the unique designs for a variety of industries and the built-in functionality that makes your site run smoothly, what’s there not to love? They’re SEO-friendly, secure, fast, and most of them are responsive and HTML5. Plus they’re built in the Genesis Framework.
That’s why I’m giving Rebecca Gill and her Web Savvy Marketing themes a perfect 5 star review. So go ahead and browse their themes. I’m sure you will find one you like.
